Two SRG awards are available
1- The John D. Dodd Memorial Scholarship
2- The SRG Endowment Fund Scholarship

Additional scholarships are available from the Rubber Division, ACS and other local rubber groups via the Rubber Division scholarship page located here.

The John D. Dodd Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established in 1973 after Mr. Dodd's death in 1972 at the age of 42. John was a beloved member of the Southern Rubber Group, which he served relentlessly. This scholarship is funded through the general treasury of the Southern Rubber Group.

The award has been established at $1,000 payable directly to the recipient for his or her freshman year only. The award will be made on the basis of $500 payable at the beginning of each of the first two semesters. If the recipient fails to remain in good standing for the second semester, the remaining $500 for the second semester will be denied and remain in the general treasury.

The SRG Endowment Fund Scholarship

The SRG Endowment Fund was established in 1988 to increase our contribution to education.

The award has been established at $1,000 payable directly to the college or university, in the recipient's name. The award will be made on the basis of $500 payable at the beginning of each of the first two semesters. If the recipient fails to remain in good standing for the second semester, the remaining 50% will be denied and remain in the Endowment Fund.
